Baby at 9 Month

Speech development
Your baby should be babbling and making sounds like “mama” or “dada” now. He also develops an understanding of words and instructions, like “bye-bye”.

Motor development
He starts holding or chewing food in the mouth, handling and playing with objects using his hands to understand shapes, uses pincer grasp (thumb and index finger), and crawls. When adults hold their hands, your baby will naturally stand up and raise each of their feet alternately, as if starting to walk.

Psychological development
Your little one’s individual temperament will begin to show.

Dental development
The lateral incisors (side front teeth) begin to grow
