Give your child attention and reassurance
It is important to give your child the attention and reassurance he needs so that he will know that you will always be there for him. This gives him the confidence to discover by himself and conquer the unfamiliar.
Help your child cope with separation
Soon, your child will have to go to places by himself and be separated from you for longer periods of time. Always assure him that you will be back for him, and even though he may react negatively in your absence, he will learn that you will always return.
